DESTINATIONS & BEYOND
for girls 11-17 and Girl Scout Adults
Are your girls age 11 or older? Do they want to travel? Why not have a Studio 2b Destinations night! You as a leader don’t need to be the expert on Destinations. You simply need access to the internet (preferably at a local school or library where there are several computers). You can give a brief introduction and have the girls go to the destinations website.
o Destinations is for girls 11 and up. Girls can find opportunities to explore new places, careers, and to experience new things.
o Financial aid is available for some Destination programs. Financial aide forms are available on the website. Girls may also apply for the council opportunity fund, which may cover up to 50% of a Destination. Some Destinations may be free!
o Applications must be sent to the service center by November1.
Please note that some destinations may have a later deadline.
