STUDIO 2B Where Girls 11-17 Become, Belong, Believe, and Build

STUDIO 2B is the way girls 11-17 participate in Girl Scouting. This approach encompasses all the things girls have always loved about Girl Scouting—from camping, to community service, to working on interest projects, to earning the Girl Scout Gold Award.

The STUDIO 2B approach involves more options for girls and a "by girls, for girls" philosophy. All girls 11-17 are Girl Scouts, accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and pay the annual dues. Now girls can choose their own group name—such as Cadette, Senior, G-Force, Adventure Divas, etc.—to express their interests and personalities. Girls can participate through groups, troops, special events at the council level, destinations in the United States and abroad, and online.

Girls can choose from a variety of resources, including the STUDIO 2B inserts and binder, STUDIO 2B Focus and Collections series, Girl Scout handbooks, and Interest Projects for Girls 11-17. Girls also can choose the awards they wish to earn, including Interest Project awards, participation patches, STUDIO 2B charms, and leadership awards, such as the Girl Scout Silver and Girl Scout Gold Awards, Leader-in-Training, Counselor-in-Training, etc.

The activities that girls work on through participation in STUDIO 2B, whether in a book or at a special event, are all based upon the four program goals of Girl Scouting repurposed as the "4Bs." The 4Bs are what make STUDIO 2B the place for girls to become, to belong, to believe, to build. Together, girls learn to:
